Edward Iannuccilli, MD, FACP Board Chairman of TECHNE Medical Systems

Edward Iannuccilli, MD was the former Chairman of the Board at Rhode Island Hospital and a member of the Lifespan Board and has an outstanding management and governance background. He has had extensive experience as a medical practitioner, but equally strong credentials as an academician, being the first appointed Clinical Professor at Brown University Medical School. He was also one of the founding principals of Ocean State Physicians Health Plan, the predecessor of United Health Care of New England, and served as its third Chairman of the Board.

Dr. Iannuccilli was the co-founder of T2, Inc, a very successful RI-based home infusion company. In addition, he was the founder of CME Consultants, a physician and professional education company with an extensive national client base. Dr. Iannuccilli developed the very first free-standing endoscopy facility in Rhode Island. As a principal in JEJ Realty Company, he played a significant role in helping to develop the medical commercial real estate in and around Rhode Island’s hospital district. Dr. Iannuccilli recently retired from a full time gastroenterology practice to pursue his entrepreneurial interests in the medical/life science arena.

Dr. Iannuccilli is a graduate of Providence College and Albany Medical College. He is a published author of medical articles and of stories of his childhood. Dr. Iannuccilli has been on numerous boards and was honored as the distinguished alumnus of Albany Medical College in 1991.
